Who We Are

Jali Global Tech: Bridging Gaps, Transforming Lives — Starting with Tanzania

Under the Commercial brand TanTrack for communities the birth of Jali Global Tech At Jali Global Tech, we believe technology should include everyone—especially those often left behind. Our mission is to connect the unconnected, protect the vulnerable, and unlock new possibilities for people across Africa, beginning with Tanzania, a country ready to lead the digital inclusion revolution.

Our Story: Innovation Born from Purpose

In Africa, millions remain disconnected from digital tools that can improve their health, safety, education, and economic participation. Youth under 18, children with disabilities, and families in informal communities often lack access to smartphones, financial services, and safety solutions.
Jali Global Tech was born from a vision to change that. We create affordable, purpose-driven wearable technology—designed to empower children, youth, and persons with disabilities—enabling them to be safe, included, and connected.
Our flagship devices—the Jali Smartwatch and Jali Wristband—are made to serve the most vulnerable, providing GPS tracking, contactless payments, communication tools, and interactive learning that address real challenges in education, safety, and finance.

Why Tanzania? The Launchpad for Change

01.

Nearly 44% of Tanzania’s population is under 15 years old (World Bank, 2023).

02.

Over 13 million children are of school-going age, yet school absenteeism affects nearly 30% of them (Ministry of Education, 2022).

03.

Around 50% of Tanzanians are unbanked, and only about 29% use mobile money (World Bank & GSMA, 2023).

04.

Tanzania has over 9 million children with disabilities, many lacking safety and educational support (UNICEF, 2023).

These realities highlight the urgent need for scalable, affordable, and inclusive technology solutions precisely what Jali offers.

  • Over 80 million African children are out of school, with safety and economic challenges contributing.
  • Over 57% of African adults are unbanked; youth under 18 have minimal access to financial services.
